About Me
Dr. Andrew Goldstone is a board certified Otolaryngologist specializing in the evaluation and treatment of ear, nose and throat (ENT) disorders of adult and pediatric patients. He has been in private practice of medicine in Baltimore since 1991. For over 25 years the hallmark of Dr. Goldstone’s practice has been delivering concentrated patient-centric care that focuses on the individual. He takes great pride in providing compassionate and comprehensive ear, nose and throat care to patients of all ages. Specialty care with attention to cutting-edge therapies and new approaches while ensuring excellence through the use of well-established treatments is the principle upon which his practice is based. He credits learning this philosophy as a child from his father, also a physician, whom he accompanied on numerous patient house calls.
In an era of physicians affiliating with larger networks, Dr. Goldstone is the rare physician who aims to provide comprehensive ENT care in a smaller, more personal, practice environment. He and his dedicated staff take ownership of the patient’s complete care, coordinating consultations, as needed, with primary care doctors and other specialists. His overall goal is to develop long-term provider-patient relationships, which enhance the quality, safety and satisfaction of the care provided.
Dr. Goldstone graduated magna cum laude from The Pennsylvania State University, where he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Dr. Goldstone obtained his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in 1985. He then received residency training (1985-1991) in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. In 1990-1991 he served as chief resident in the Department of Otolaryngology at Johns Hopkins. After becoming board certified in the care of Ear, Nose and Throat patients, he attained fellowship in The American College of Surgeons.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Goldstone has an appointment as Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He teaches residents and holds memberships in several national and local medical societies. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
