Joining a PFAC

The GBMC HealthCare PFACs are comprised of patients, family members, and staff representing Greater Baltimore Medical Center, GBMC Health Partners, the Greater Baltimore Health Alliance and Gilchrist. We always look forward to welcoming new members! Any patient or family member who has current or recent (within the past two years) experience with GBMC hospital, GBMC Health Partners, or Greater Baltimore Health Alliance (GBHA) may apply to participate. Application forms and charters are located on each individual PFAC page below.

Patient Family Advisors (PFAs) are selected following an application/interview process. If your name is selected, you will be contacted by a staff member for an interview. All PFAs are asked to share personal experiences, opinions, and ideas in a constructive way to effectively improve the patient experience throughout the healthcare system. PFAC meetings are typically held two to six times per year for an hour and a half.
