Dr. Hennessee Answers Questions About Teens and the COVID-19 Vaccine

For the past few months, COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy has been a consistent topic of conversation from the news media to the dinner table. It continues to grow as new age groups get the go-ahead to be vaccinated.

Alexa, a middle schooler from Columbia, MD, received her first dose shortly after its approval, and has begun having conversations about vaccination within her peer group. She recently had the opportunity to virtually interview Jonathan Hennessee, DO, a board-certified family medicine physician at GBMC Health Partners Primary Care – Padonia, to get vaccine questions answered for herself and other kids in the 12-15 age range.
