GBMC’s Pharmacy can handle all your medication needs, including over-the-counter (OTC), prescription, and even specialty medications.

Convenient Location for OTC Needs:

Heading back to work or home after your appointment, but need more over-the-counter supplies (cough drops, Band-Aids, saline spray, Vitamin C, antihistamine)? Stop by the Pharmacy before you leave the GBMC campus and save yourself the trouble of making another stop.

Easy Payment Options:

Prescriptions are billed directly to most insurance plans and government programs, such as Medicare, Medical Assistance, Ryan White, and many more. For added convenience, payment can be made directly through MyChart, our secure and user-friendly online platform. Insurance experts are available to serve patients who need assistance.

Stay Informed:

With MyChart text notifications, you’ll always be updated about the status of your prescription. Visit the MyChart app to sign up for text messaging options.

Curbside Pickup:

The GBMC Pharmacy understands that your hands are often full, and your time is precious. That's why our team is more than happy to bring your prescription out to your car if needed. Speak to your pharmacist about available options.

Friendly, Expert Pharmacists:

At the heart of the GBMC Pharmacy are our specially trained pharmacists, whose sole goal is to enhance your quality of life. They can provide detailed medication guidance and counseling to help you manage your treatment effectively.

The Specialty Pharmacy

The GBMC Specialty Pharmacy assists patients who are taking complicated, high-cost medications called specialty medications. Many of these medications require monitoring by highly trained pharmacists, special storage and handling, and may not be readily available at local pharmacies.

  • Once enrolled, patients can pick up or have their prescriptions shipped directly to their address of choice.
  • Infusion patients can have their medications delivered directly to them during their visit to GBMC’s Infusion Center.
  • All packages are properly insulated according to their temperature requirements.
  • Once enrolled, a patient’s pharmacist will periodically reach out to discuss personalized medication needs prior to shipping any medications.
  • If a prescription runs out, a pharmacist will contact the patient’s doctor for refills, and notify the patient that it is ready for delivery or pick up.
