Dear Friends,

I’m a proud volunteer leader with GBMC HealthCare. Our family has been touched by the continuous great care by the staff and wanted to share an exciting initiative we are helping them bring to fruition.

The Promise Project will bring two historic advancements to GBMC — the Louis and Phyllis Friedman Building and the Sandra R. Berman Pavilion, the new home of the Sandra and Malcolm Berman Cancer Institute at GBMC — not only modernizing GBMC’s facilities but extending their promise to put patients first for generations to come.

But they can’t do it alone. We became part of the promise by making a monthly/quarterly/annual contribution over the next few years because we have seen the value a quality, compassionate, independent community healthcare system brings to our community, and we want to make sure they are around for future generations. Will you join me in ensuring that advanced healthcare is available at GBMC for years to come? Learn more at https://gbmcpromise.com.

I am a proud member of the board of @GBMCHealthCare. GBMC’s vision since the beginning has been to treat patients like we would our own loved ones. That vision plays out in many ways, and #ThePromiseProject is a tremendous demonstration of GBMC’s mission of health, healing, and hope for everyone in our community. Please consider joining me in supporting GBMC as they continue their promise to serve the community for generations to come. https://gbmcpromise.com.

GBMC has always been there for my family and me when we need them. Whether it’s a trip to the Emergency Department, seeing our primary care doctors, or delivering our babies, they have never let us down. I am proud to be a part of The Promise Project. These new facilities will benefit patient care, improve the working environment for staff, and allow families to be involved in their loved one’s care experience. https://gbmcpromise.com.

I am thrilled to share with you that GBMC’s new hospital addition will be named for Maryland philanthropists, Louis and Phyllis Friedman! The Friedmans have demonstrated outstanding commitment to GBMC and the importance of advanced medical care being available in our community. The new Louis and Phyllis Friedman Building will be a three-story addition to the main hospital, featuring 60 state-of-the-art patient care rooms and other modern amenities. GBMC is my family's hospital of choice. (Insert your own story that shows a great care story or story of generations of care.) I'm supporting GBMC's Promise Project, which is transforming GBMC for the next generation with the Louis and Phyllis Friedman Building, providing 60 spacious patient care rooms, and The Sandra R. Berman Pavilion, a new home for cancer care. Message me to hear about impactful ways you can help GBMC keep its promise to the community. https://gbmcpromise.com.

Let’s face it, nobody wants to go to the hospital. But when you need it, you’re glad it’s there. GBMC has been Baltimore’s community hospital for more than 50 years, connecting you with the advanced care you need in a convenient location. The Promise Project is transforming GBMC’s main hospital and will consolidate our world-class cancer services into a modern, convenient building. Navigating a cancer diagnosis and treatment can be overwhelming. At GBMC, we’re bringing comprehensive cancer services into one convenient location to ease the burden on patients and families. The new Sandra R. Berman Pavilion will offer the latest treatment technologies in a state-of-the-art facility, with convenient parking in the same building. Easier for patients when they need it most. Learn more about The Promise Project and improvements to cancer care and the main hospital at https://gbmcpromise.com.

As a close friend and family member to many cancer survivors, I am glad that The Sandra R. Berman Pavilion will become the new home of the Sandra and Malcolm Berman Cancer Institute at GBMC, consolidating all cancer care services into one building for the convenience of our oncology patients. This new and innovative program will be able to provide more comprehensive, convenient, and compassionate care to patients and their families. Message me to hear about impactful ways you can help GBMC keep its promise to the community. https://gbmcpromise.com.

GBMC is my family’s hospital, and I’m so excited about the historic transformation taking place on its main Towson campus. Through the generous support of two Maryland families, GBMC will soon open two state-of-the-art patient care buildings to provide outstanding care to the community: the Louis and Phyllis Friedman Building will bring a magnificent three-story addition to the main hospital, and the Sandra R. Berman Pavilion will consolidate all of GBMC’s cancer services into one convenient location. Learn more at https://gbmcpromise.com.

You may know that I'm a supporter of GBMC's capital campaign, The Promise Project...but what is "the promise" exactly? It's the promise to always put the patient first. Even when there is no financial incentive for the hospital, GBMC steps ups to cover important services for the community that are not reimbursed by insurance. Services for survivors of sexual assault, child abuse, cancer, and so much more. GBMC is an independent community-owned healthcare system, and it is vitally important that it be here to serve our children and our children's children. I hope you will join me in supporting this promise for future generations by visiting gbmcpromise.com or talk to me about how to become more involved. https://gbmcpromise.com.
