About Me
Timothee J. Friesen, MD, earned his medical degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency training at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. He completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at the North Shore University and Long Island Jewish Hospitals in Manhasset, New York. Board-certified in General Surgery, Dr. Friesen has a special interest in laparoscopic foregut and abdominal wall surgery, as well as minimally invasive approaches to treat gastrointestinal disorders and obesity.
