About Me
Francis (Lawson) Grumbine, MD, is an ophthalmologist at GBMC Health Partners Ophthalmology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Jefferson Medical College and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at Emory University. He then completed a 2-year fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California. Prior to joining GBMC Health Partners, Dr. Grumbine was a full-time faculty member at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where he served as the Director of Oculoplastic Surgery.
Dr. Grumbine provides comprehensive ophthalmic care for patients with a subspecialty interest in oculoplastic and orbital surgery. This subspecialty addresses medical and surgical issues relating to the management of eyelid and orbital tumors, eyelid and periocular reconstruction, repair of orbital fractures, disorders of the lacrimal system, correction of eyelid malposition, and thyroid eye disease.
