About Me
Susan Wright Aucott, MD, is the Director of Neonatology at GBMC HealthCare. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and is board-certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Dr. Aucott completed her residency in Pediatrics at the Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, where she served as Chief Resident for a year. She also completed her fellowship in Neonatology at the Cleveland Metropolitan General Hospital and Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital.
Throughout her career, she has authored 19 book chapters on Neonatology and has authored or co-authored more than 90 peer-reviewed publications. She has held active roles with the American Academy of Pediatrics, including membership on the Executive Committee of the Section on Neonatal-Perinatal Pediatrics, and the Committee on Fetus and Newborn. In addition to her role at GBMC, Dr. Aucott also serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
