Stephanie R. Wappel, MD, is a sleep and pulmonary medicine physician at GBMC Health Partners Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine. Dr. Wappel received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, where she served as chief resident for a year. She then completed her fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland, followed by further fellowship training in Sleep Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Wappel is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Sleep Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine.
