About Me
Theodore Bailey, MD, JD, MA, is the Chief of GBMC’s Division of Infectious Diseases. Board-certified in both Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine, Dr. Bailey earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota as well as fellowships in Infectious Disease and Bioethics at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and the Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics, respectively. Prior to joining GBMC, Dr. Bailey served as an attending physician at Lancaster Regional Medical Center and Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center, both in Pennsylvania. The Infectious Disease practice at GBMC only takes inpatient referrals. Outpatient management questions from GBMC care providers are available by telephone on a limited basis.
