Oluyemi O Abiodun, MD

Oluyemi Abiodun, MD is a member of the Hospitalist team at The Greater Baltimore Medical Center. Prior to pursuing a career in medicine, she was a Registered Nurse who worked in the Public Health sector for 2 years. She is well-traveled and enjoys singing and writing. She is also passionate about women's equality and is an advocate for disadvantaged and disenfranchised populations.

Oluyemi is a global citizen: She was born in the United Kingdom, raised in the Middle East and Africa and enjoys traveling the world. She graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University, School of Nursing with a bachelor of science in nursing. She then earned her medical degree with honors from Case Western Reserve University (afiliated with The Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals), School of Medicine and completed her medical residency training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Oluyemi currently lives in Baltimore County, though remains dedicated to exploring what the world has to offer -- one country at a time.

Hospitalists at GBMC attend to patients on hospital units and are not available for outpatient appointments.
