Daniel R Bashari, MD

Dr. Bashari specializes in the inpatient care of adult patients and is board-certified by the ABIM in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency, including a year as chief resident, at NYU Langone Hospital – Brooklyn (formerly known as Lutheran Medical Center), in New York. He completed a fellowship in geriatric medicine at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra University / Northwell Health, in New York. He then joined the faculty in the division of Geriatrics & Palliative Medicine serving as Assistant Professor before moving to Baltimore to join GBMC. Dr. Bashari’s clinical interests include the care of older adults with multiple conditions, polypharmacy, and geriatric syndromes seen in an inpatient setting. He currently serves as the Unit 38 Director for medical inpatients. In his free time, he enjoys biking, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Hospitalists at GBMC attend to patients on hospital units and are not available for outpatient appointments.
