About Me
David Vitberg, MD, earned his medical degree from Upstate Medical University College of Medicine in Syracuse, New York and completed his combined Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Maryland Medical System. Post-residency, he completed a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Board-certified in Emergency Medicine, Emergency Medical Services and Critical Care Medicine, Dr. Vitberg is the Director of the Division of Medical and Surgical Critical Care at GBMC and is the Deputy Medical Director for Baltimore County Fire Department.
