Margaret L Skinner, MD

Dr. Margaret Skinner is an assistant professor with the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her clinical interests include general pediatric otolaryngology, disorders of the pediatric airway, congenital anomalies and tumors of the head and neck, sinus and endoscopic surgery, and chronic ear disease and hearing loss. Dr. Skinner's research efforts have focused on disorders of the pediatric airway. Dr. Skinner has received several accolades for her clinical practice and research, including a University Research Committee resident research grant from the Medical University of South Carolina and recognition for the best record in otorhinolaryngology at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Dr. Skinner is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Skinner earned her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and her medical degree from the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. She completed a residency in otolaryngology head and neck surgery and general surgery internship at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Skinner completed a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at Children's Hospital Boston and served as a Clinical Fellow in Otolaryngology and Laryngology at Harvard Medical School.
