16th Voice Conference: Diagnosis and Treatment of Voice and Swallowing Disorders with Laryngeal Imaging Hands-On Instruction
About the Program
This is a program designed to educate otolaryngologists and speech- language pathologists in the diagnosis and treatment of voice, swallowing, and breathing disorders. A faculty of Laryngologists and Speech-Language Pathologists will present on a number of different topics within the field: dysphagia, cough, airway, voice, and H&N cancer will all be covered. With several speakers on each topic and with case-based discussions for each topic, this program will be clinically relevant and interactive.
Learning Objectives
By attending this program, participants will:
- Discuss advances in evaluation and treatment of dysphonia, dysphagia, and dyspnea
- Review challenges in voice therapy for refractory processes
- Review laryngeal anatomy and physiology
- Discuss stroboscopic interpretation
- Learn how to pass flexible endoscopes and evaluate findings
