We are pleased to reveal our final renderings for the Sandra R. Berman Pavilion. We are still completing detailed design work, but we can share these images, which will give you a sense of the warmth and accessibility we wanted for this new home for cancer care at GBMC.

As you look at the exterior of the building, you can see the floor-to-ceiling windows that will bring lots of natural light into every area of the building. The lobby, the reception areas, and treatment areas are bright and open. The lobby easily connects patients and families to the full range of resources and services we have to offer. We look forward to giving our patients a spectacular view as they receive their infusion treatments in private and open-plan bays.

It was a labor of love to design this space: a single destination for cancer care where all members of the care team can work side-by-side. The result is a building designed with our patients at the heart of each decision. We have drawn on feedback from patients, families, and staff in the design process to create a space we feel goes above and beyond medicine to help patients navigate their care experience. We hope you feel the same.
